Some Statistics

Did you know that 3% of insured U.S. adults under the age of 65 take medications that weaken the immune system? That’s according to researchers at Michigan Medicine, who pointed out that these medications could increase a patient’s risk of catching the virus, which could lead to hospitalization.

Not only that, but these drugs could also impact the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines- so not only are you more likely to catch the virus, you’ll also have a harder time staying safe if you take some of these medications.
It’s important to talk to your doctor or pharmacist about your medication and what sort of effects it may have on your vaccines.
