It May Burn Your Baby
The Food and Drug Administration recommends never microwaving baby food in the jar it came in. When heated, baby food will not heat evenly in the jar, leaving potential “hot spots” where your baby could burn her mouth. When microwaving baby food, always transfer it to a clean dish. Then microwave it for about 15 seconds and always allow it to rest for at least 30 seconds.
