You drink too much alcohol

There are health experts who recommend small amounts of alcohol and moderate drinking because it has anti-inflammatory effects, but excessive alcohol consumption can lead to severe health complications in the long run. In general, alcohol can cancel the effect of certain treatments, leading to severe pain.

A 2020 study published in the British Journal of Dermatology (BJD) that looked at the connection between alcohol consumption and psoriasis found that drinking alcohol can increase the risks of developing psoriatic arthritis in people with psoriasis.

With that being said, drinking too much alcohol can adversely affect your overall health. Of course, every person is different and the effects of alcohol vary from individual to individual. You eat too much

Eating too much can be problematic, especially if you are prone to developing obesity. The main cause of obesity is excessive eating and if you suffer from arthritic joints, obesity can be really harmful because you put more pressure on your joints.

In addition, studies have shown that being overweight or obese can also adversely affect the effects of your treatment. So, the solution is to try to lose a few extra pounds and the best part is that physical activity can reduce the symptoms of psoriatic arthritis. In conclusion, all you have to do is to talk to your doctor about what’s the right type of exercise for you and follow a balanced and healthy diet.

Yet, obesity can make you prone to developing other serious diseases, such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer and so on. If you want to be happier and to improve your overall health, then try to eat healthy as well.
