10. Fever
As we all know, fever is the body’s response to an infection or illness. So, cancer patients will often have a fever as a symptom of this deadly disease. It is also important to note that fever is rarely an early symptom of cancer, however, if we are referring to a blood cancer such as leukemia or lymphoma, fever is actually an early warning sign.
See your doctor immediately if you have a fever that doesn’t go away! Also, don’t assume that it might be something else if your temperature has dropped, because fever caused by cancer can come on in cycles. So, you may have days or even weeks when you don’t have fever and then, suddenly, your body temperature rises again.
