The COVID-19 virus can develop and change in time giving birth to new variants, which can manifest in different ways.
So far there have been four variants found, which are also called ”variants of concern”, one of them being Delta.
The term “variants of concern” means that they can be easily passed from one person to another, more severe, the vaccine having a lighter impact on them.
It has been recently proved that they can be up to 60% more transmissible than the other variants. Well, the numbers are indeed concerning, but it doesn’t mean that we have to live in fear.
