How to Get Rid of a Rash: 4 Home Remedies

Aloe vera

Aloe has been used as an anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral, and antioxidant. Although it’s widely used, much of the evidence for its effectiveness is anecdotal, and more studies are needed. If you have an aloe plant, you can cut open a leaf, scrape out the gel, and apply it directly to the affected skin.

Coconut oil

It’s high in saturated fats and has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. If you are allergic to coconut, you should test it first on one spot on your inner arm. If no reaction occurs within 24 hours, it should be safe to use. Discontinue use if irritation develops.
