Data is showing that vaccines continue to give excellent protection against the virus, even six months after being vaccinated. However, scientists are starting to believe a booster shot may be necessary.
Also, scientists from Israel came up with some new evidence that testifies how the efficacy of the vaccine may wane over time in some groups, such as immunocompromised people and the elderly.
In spite of all this, vaccination in two doses with Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or in one dose with Johnson&Johnson one is still the only solid way to prevent getting infected, until further information appears in our notice.
