GERD

This is a dry and spasmodic cough which is caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease. Caused by acid reflux, GERD can also trigger heartburn after eating, which is really annoying, so, if you think you may have GERD, you should see your doctor as soon as possible.

 

COPD

A chronic, hacking cough and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease that is often caused by long-term smoking. This is a serious condition and you better see your doctor to slow down your lung damage, which, fortunately can be treated, but, unfortunately not cured.
