Things You Should Know About High Blood Pressure

Hypertension or high blood pressure happens when your blood pressure increases to unhealthy levels. It is high common – nearly half of American adults will now be diagnosed with this condition. High blood pressure develops over the course of several years and usually, you don’t see any symptoms.

Even without symptoms, hypertension can cause damage to your blood vessels and organs, especially the brain, eyes, kidneys and heart. It’s very important to detect it early. So, if you notice any changes in your blood pressure readings, visit your doctor as soon as possible.
