All kinds of nuts are good for our health, but almonds are the best when it comes to boosting our protein intake. A one-ounce serving packs 6 grams of protein, and that’s more than you can get from any other types of nuts.

Indeed, a serving also comes with approximately 167 calories, but studies suggest that our bodies will only absorb about 129 of them because some of the fat provided by almonds isn’t digested. A handful of chopped almonds should be more than enough to increase your protein intake.
