4. Chills

A feeling of being cold was also reported as a COVID vaccine side effect. Experiencing chills has various root causes. From pneumonia and urinary tract infections (UTIs) to meningitis, malaria, and the common flu, chills are present in many conditions.

It’s an irritating side effect since an episode can last as long as 60 minutes, but not so ‘concerning’ as the rest. Hamburg said that most patients had chills and low-grade fever.
