How much water do you drink a day? One glass, two? You should drink 8 glasses per day. So, do you think you’re reaching the target? Because your skin says otherwise.

Although we lose more water during the summer, this doesn’t mean that our skin is completely protected during the winter months. We lose fluids through our outer layer every single day, no matter the season.

Since our bodies are made of 70% water, you should consider drinking more if you want to keep your skin hydrated.

Remember that not all drinks are created equal! For instance, your morning cup of Joe can make you lose even more water due to caffeine. Stick with plain water, soap, or teas.
