8 Dangerous Health Symptoms People Often Overlook

Restlessness, irritability and confusion

Unfortunately, your blood sugar levels can lead to unexpected mood changes. When you are dealing with low blood sugar levels, you might experience confusion, irritability, hunger or behavior changes.

On the other hand, high blood sugar levels are linked to tiredness or difficulty thinking clearly and quickly, so you might want to consult your doctor if you notice any of these changes.

“Your body relies on these sugars, or glucose, for energy,” says Jocelyn Nadua, RPN, and Care Coordinator at C-Care Health Services. “When glucose levels are low, your brain’s ability to send neurotransmitters are affected, therefore inhibiting movement, communication, and cognition.”
