“There are many ways to avoid medicines and treat/minimize acid reflux such as eating sparingly and smaller meals (instead of three large meals per day), avoiding certain foods like dairy, greasy foods, spicy foods, tomatoes/onions/garlic, etc.,” she explains. Also, it is essential to give your body enough time to digest the foods you eat. “The important part is not rushing to mask the problem!” Eat slower, not only will it help you with this condition, it will allow you to savor and enjoy your food more.
