A runny nose is often associated with allergies, sinus infections and common colds, however, during these times of uncertainty, a runny nose can also translate to COVID-19. However, it appears that this coronavirus symptom is more common in children.
According to the CDC, “children with confirmed COVID-19 have generally presented with mild symptoms. Reported symptoms in children include cold-like symptoms, such as fever, runny nose, and cough.”
So, if your nose runs, try to eliminate all possible causes, before thinking you might have the coronavirus.
