Can’t Sleep? Here Are 16 Things You Can Do to Change That

Good quality sleep is not only essential for your physical health but your mental health too. Yet, one in three American adults don’t get enough sleep. It means that more than a third of Americans are sleep-deprived. Are you one of them? How much sleep do you actually get every night?

According to the CDC, adults aged, between 18 and 60 should aim for at least 7 hours of good quality sleep per night while older adults (65 years and older) should get 8 hours. So, can you give yourself a pat on the back? YES or NO?

Now, it may seem like no big deal to you, but, over time, sleep deprivation can have severe consequences on your overall health. Some of them are memory problems, mood changes, high blood pressure, weight gain, diabetes, and weakened immunity.
