9. Heart issues
While chest discomfort or pain is certainly the most common sign of ticker problems, shoulder pain can be one too. According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, people with angina can deal with shoulder pain; their arms, neck, jaw, or back may also ache.
Shoulder pain also translates to one of the many possible red flags of a heart attack. For example, women, in particular, should keep an eye on this strange symptom, especially when it’s accompanied by sudden fatigue, lightheadedness, shortness of breath, and indigestion.
Remember that heart attack symptoms in women are often different than in men. In general, women don’t experience the traditional chest pain symptom. So, if you experience shoulder pain, call your doctor immediately!
