A study from the Wuhan Medical Treatment Expert Group for COVID-19 found that 48.5% of coronavirus patients said their “chief complaint” ware digestive issues—which included diarrhea, upset stomach, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, and vomiting. According to the study, 3% of patients who experienced digestive symptoms exhibited no signs of respiratory symptoms.
