The American Academy of Ophthalmology reports that pink eye develops in only one to three percent of people with coronavirus. Jeff Pettey, MD, of the University of Utah, says that “without the common symptoms of fever, cough, or shortness of breath, it is highly, highly unlikely” that it would be related to coronavirus.
