8 Signs You Might Have Hypothyroidism

Heat is often considered to be your body’s natural response when it burns calories. Think about how hot you are when running or working out. In fact, you’re burning calories even when you’re sitting on the sofa binge-watching your favorite Netflix show.

However, we can’t say the same when referring to those who have hypothyroidism. Low levels of thyroid hormone can minimize the amount of heat your body generates. That’s why you might be feeling cold, even during summer.

Approximately 40 percent of those who have hypothyroidism are more sensitive to cold than those who don’t. So, if you’re used to turning up the heat every single day, it might be time to see your doctor.
