7. Your hands and feet are cold

As we already mentioned, anemia strikes when you have a shortage of red blood cells and fewer red blood cells also translates to cold feet, especially when referring to severe cases of anemia. “People who have iron-deficiency anemia report cold hands and feet, says Dr. Kahn.
