Joint pain is a common issue that can appear from any part of a joint. In general joint pain is associated with arthritis, the inflammation or pain that comes from the joint itself. If you’re experiencing joint pain, you’re far from alone. In fact, in a recent survey, about one-third of adults reported experiencing it within the past 30 days.

The most common type of arthritis, osteoarthritis (OA) can be the cause of your joint pain, especially if you haven’t had a recent injury. More than 30 million Americans are dealing with osteoarthritis, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, (the CDC).

While many people live with joint pain due to osteoarthritis, this common health condition is not the only one that cause joints to become stiffen.
