There has been a particular antiviral pill discovered, one that allegedly can reduce the risk of being hospitalized or dying of the virus by 50%. The pill has been announced by the pharmaceutical companies Merck and Ridgeback, and it would require an administration over five days, shortly after COVID-19 diagnosis.
