Apple cider vinegar is all over social media and every wellness guru shares his health food recipes which contain this amazing liquid. Apple cider vinegar fans say that this liquid can help you to fight against colds, dandruff and upset stomachs. They go so far with this incredible liquid and say that it can avoid cancer and heart disease. Well…we know that what we drink and eat plays an important role for our health, but is apple cider vinegar so good as they say? Let’s see how incredible the apple cider vinegar can be.

 

 

Blood sugar

Some studies have shown that putting some drops of apple cider vinegar in your meals or snacks can help you to lower blood sugar. So, replace water with apple cider vinegar and you will also have a salad full of flavor, especially if you have type 2 diabetes or prediabetes.

 

Break down fat

Vinegar contains acetic acid, and this helps you to break down fat. If you drink an ounce of apple cider vinegar every day you can have a slimmer waist and reduce your body weight.

 

Boost gut bacteria

As we said, acetic acid is found in apple cider vinegar and studies have shown that the acetic acid can boost gut bacteria in mice. But we don’t know if this mechanism occurs in humans. Also, it’s unclear if apple cider vinegar really helps you to fight against cancer.

 

Important info: Don’t drink vinegar straight, it might hurt your throat. If you don’t like apple cider vinegar in your salad, mix two teaspoons of it with honey and put the mix in a cup of warm water. You can drink this mix once a day. Go ahead! Apple cider vinegar can  boost your health.
