4 Things Doctors Want You to Know About Flurona

Unfortunately for us, Covid-19 won’t be giving us a break in 2022 either. The new Omicron variant has been up and running all over the country, leading to record-breaking cases in most of the states. Now, experts are warning us again, about the possibility of a new virus, called “flurona”. Basically, Flurona is an infection with Covid-19 and influenza at the same time.

Although it’s not such a common combination, it can happen to anybody, because they are two different viruses. And according to Purvi Parikh, M.D., an allergist and immunologist with the Allergy and Asthma Network, there have been cases of this in America over the past two years.
