Q&A: What causes lung cancer?
Lung cancer appears when the cells of the lungs are changing or mutating. Cells begin growing out of control, and building up so quickly, that others can’t die off and prevent new and healthy cells from forming.
Tumors appear because of the build-up of cells. This process develops when there are breaks in some parts of the genetic code, which dictates the cells what to do and how to act.
These breaks can happen for several reasons, like inheriting an already broken code, or exposure to environmental toxins. Unfortunately, it is a harsh disease, and not only extremely painful but also extremely exhausting.
