These 8 Habits Raise Your Risk of Having a Heart Attack!

8. You skip breakfast.

Although there’s an endless dispute regarding whether or not breakfast is indeed the most important meal of the day, Haythe suggests that we all need it. Since breakfast prepares our bodies for an upcoming day, she thinks that we shouldn’t skip it.

There’s no clear study between eating breakfast and heart attacks, at least not yet, but some research has demonstrated that breakfast may act as a shield for your old ticker.

Participants who missed the first meal of the day had an 87 percent greater risk of death from any type of cardiovascular disease than those who ate breakfast. The study was focused on 6,550 adults and was published three years ago in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
