We are being raised by our parents with the thought that cheese isn’t good for our health, because cheese actually it’s saturated fat. Some researchers think that eating cheese is actually very good for your health. Here are 5 reasons why you should start eating cheese.

  1. Removes your heart disease risk

Have you ever thought why French people have low rates of heart disease? Well…apparently cheese is the answer. French people are eating a lot of cheese and other saturated fat foods, such as duck or butter. In 2016 was made a report that analysed results from 31 prospective cohort studies. This report it’s based on what people ate day by day and how their health it’s affected. The major finding was that eating 2 ounces of cheese every day, you can lower your risk of heart disease with an 18 percent.

  1. Fends off diabetes

If you eat 1 ¾ ounces of cheese daily, you can lower your risk of developing  type 2 diabetes with an 8 percent, says an analysis of cohort studies in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Also, people who ate under 2 ounces of cheese lowered their type 2 diabetes risk.

  1. Helps you trick death

Can you believe this? Eating cheese can actually help you live longer. A 2016 study in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition followed 960 French men for 15 years to see if the foods they ate had anything to do with their deaths. In the end, they discovered that eating about 2 ounces of cheese daily was associated with a 38 percent lower probability that they died during the study.

  1. Improves your cholesterol

If you want to keep your heart healthy, you should take a snack of cheese a day. Trials in Nutrition Reviews were being compared. The blood cholesterol of people who ate prescribed diet had the same amount of saturated fat like in those who ate butter or cheese. Vitamin K2 which it’s found in fermented products like cheese, can also play an important role for your cholesterol.

A study published in 2014 in Clinical Interventions in Aging says that the milk proteins casein and whey may have fueled the improvement. Eating a cup of ricotta cheese daily for about 12 weeks boosts your muscle mass and improves balance in healthy adults over 60.
