Migraines often come with nausea, sensitivity to light and vomiting. They are accompanied by nausea and apparently serotonin it’s the culprit, because it signals the blood vessels in your brain, telling them to grow bigger, which can sometimes activate the part of your brain responsible for nausea and vomiting, explains Christine Lee, MD, a gastroenterologist at the Cleveland Clinic.
