This is another obvious sign that you need to move more, especially when you’re spending bags of time sitting on the couch and binge watching your favorite TV series. So, if you know that you don’t have any underlying conditions (arthritis, skeletal irregularities, or osteoporosis) that can cause your back pain, it may quite easily be eliminated by simply moving more.
A study published in JAMA Internal Medicine analyzed the possible causes of lower back pain. In most cases, the culprit was lack of exercise. “The current evidence suggests that exercise alone or in combination with education is effective for preventing lower back pain.” It strengthens your muscles so they can more easily support your back when you’re standing, sitting, or moving.
