We all experience sometimes aches and pains and a sudden pain is a reaction of the nervous system that alerts you when you experience an injury. So, when an injury occurs, those pain signals go from the injured area up your spinal cord and to your brain. However, you should know chronic pain is different from typical pain because your body sends pain signals to your brain, even after an injury heals.

Unfortunately, this type of pain can minimize your mobility, endurance, flexibility and strength. According to the American Academy of Pain Medicine, chronic pain affects approximately 100 million U.S. adults. If you suffer from chronic pain, you probably know exercise is a common treatment.
