Studies have shown how processed orange juice had 26% less antioxidant activity, and after storing it for a whole month there was up to 67% less antioxidant activity. Why are antioxidants so important? Well, they fight free radicals in our bodies. High amounts of free radicals are the reason why we get cancer, so nutrients and antioxidants are extremely important to our health.
