Staying Productive: Working from Home During the Coronavirus Outbreak

Since the World Health Organization announced last Wednesday that Covid-19 has officially reached ‘pandemic status’, many blue-chip companies like Amazon, Google and Apple have implemented a mandatory work from home policy.

Many smaller companies that can adopt this policy, have adopted it as well, meaning that working from home may become the new norm for the global workforce for the foreseeable future as the spread of Covid-19 continues unabated.

For some, working from home is a normal part of their working schedule but for many employees, this restructuring of their working day is a brand new experience, one that may adversely affect how they approach their job and have a noticeable impact on their productivity.
