The most common cause of abdominal pain is digestive issues. Discomfort and irregularities in any organ that’s in the abdomen can be the cause of the pain radiating throughout the entire area. When we talk of abdominal pain, many people refer to it as a stomachache.

But in reality, the abdomen contains many vital organs, muscles, blood vessels, and connective tissues that include the stomach, kidneys, liver, small and large intestines, the appendix, pancreas, gallbladder and spleen. The core muscles are also located in the abdomen, the four groups of abdominal muscles that give the trunk stability and keep organs in their place. Here are some causes why your stomach may hurt:
