Lastly, since COVID-19 disproportionately affects the older generations, it’s likely that adults over the age of 65. Keep in mind that the CDC has no explicitly said that this category will receive the vaccine first and this is just speculation based on the data and risk associated with age.

Then there’s also the fact that some states may diverge from this decision and some have even speculated that in some areas, the minimum age might be raised to 75. This is in order to supplement more vaccines to health care workers as well as essential workers.
