Club soda
Club soda and some mineral waters can hide a sneaky source of sodium, up to 50 milligrams per serving. Just to be safe, look for sodium-free varieties with natural flavors. Plus, carbonated water has been linked to weight gain. Obviously, it’s healthier than sugary beverages like soda, juice, or sweet tea.
But a 2017 study revealed that plain carbonated water might increase the hunger hormone called ghrelin in men. When your ghrelin levels are high, you’ll feel hungrier and are likely to eat more. The good news is, the studies conducted on this matter are ongoing, so there is no certain conclusion yet.

My husband worked for the railroad for many years and is now retired. He used to tell me of the rail cars loaded with plastic water bottles in them and, of course, they travel in the summer and get very hot while traveling. My point is that it doesn’t matter where you store your water, it’s already damaged; sorry!
