Focus on a new routine and be consistent

As we said before, it’s impossible to transform your body or miraculously improve your health overnight, especially when you have a chaotic lifestyle. Even if it sounds like a cliché, good things take time and hard work, so try to focus on it and be consistent for as long as possible. Don’t be sad when things don’t go the way you want them to or if you don’t see results.

“When I think of nutrition, I think about how it can not only be preventative but how it can manage the disease. I always say that it’s not one day that’s going to make you healthy or one day that’s going to make you unhealthy. It’s about adding that accountability in every single day that will help you improve your overall nutrition so that you can improve your health and longevity,” explained Jessica Crandall, a Denver-based RD, Certified Diabetes Educator, and National Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
