No one escapes the cruelty of time (unless you’re Madonna and you can afford plastic surgery). However, making bad food choices can speed up the aging process, especially when it comes to sugar.
Large amounts of sugar can cause premature aging because it damages collagen and elastin, the proteins that maintain our youthful appearance.
P.S.: Note that a higher carb intake can have similar consequences on your skin, so it’s best to steer clear of carbs too.
