Healthy diet
A diet of refined carbs and sugary drinks has been shown to increase your diabetes risk. So, you better cut calories and start drinking water, eat some veggies and fruits. Also, it’s better for your health to limit salt, sugar and saturated fat.
Eat more fiber
If you didn’t know by now, fiber can slow down digestion and reduce blood sugar spikes. Women should aim for about 25 grams daily and men 38 grams.
