12 Reasons Why You’re Still Not Losing Weight

7. You keep forgetting about cardio

Also known as aerobic exercise and cardiovascular exercise, cardio represents any type of exercises that boost the rate of your heart. So, activities such as cycling, swimming, and jogging are particularly beneficial for your heart health.

In fact, cardio is the best way to give your overall health a much-needed boost. When it comes to weight loss, cardio melts belly fat like butter on a hot pan.

The fat that builds up around your internal organs is the most stubborn one and it can also lead to certain diseases. Doctors may refer to it as visceral fat. If you also have trouble getting rid of it, try cardio.

8. You’re still choosing sugary drinks

Sugary drinks are probably the most fattening items you can buy. The worst part? We are not only referring to Pepsi or Coke but ‘healthier’ versions as well. Beverages like Vitaminwater are also full of the white stuff.

Even fruit juices should be avoided. One glass of fruit juice packs approximately the same amount of sugar as a couple of whole fruit pieces, and we all know that one single glass is actually two or three.

In conclusion, steering clear of all sugary beverages is a great bullet point in maintaining a food weight loss strategy.
