1. Your vitamin D levels are low

This is probably the most obvious sign of not going outside for long periods of time. Staying indoors is often associated with a vitamin D deficiency, that’s why it is essential to let the sun rays caress your body. So, if you find yourself tired all the time or sick more often than usual you may have vitamin D deficiency.

According to Dr. Debra Brooks, Physician at Northwell Health—GoHealth Urgent Care vitamin D is made in your skin when you are exposed to sunlight. “You don’t have to bake in the sun and  maximize the risk of developing cancer—just 15 minutes a day outside is a healthy way to keep your vitamin D levels up,” she added.
