Ideally, an adult should sleep between 7-9 hours. As a CDC study showed, sleeping less than 6 hours or more than 10 constantly, your risk of chronic diseases (diabetes, heart disease, obesity) increases considerably.
Also, the second you hit the snooze button you interrupt your body’s sleeping process and actually makes you more tired than you’d be if you just woke up when the clock rang.
