You should consume more foods high in antioxidants

As you already know, your body produces antioxidants, but they can be found in foods as well. Antioxidants protect your body from free radicals (that usually lead to cancers). According to medical experts, if you want to live longer, you should eat a diet rich in antioxidants. You can choose dark chocolate, blueberries, strawberries, goji berries, raspberries, kale, red cabbage, beans, spinach and so on.

“I’m always an advocate for adding antioxidant-rich foods to your diet to help prevent and ward off disease. Berries, bell peppers, grapes, and brightly colored fruits and veggies are all great options. I suggest having at least three cups of veggies and two cups of fruit per day at minimum,” says Crandall.
